Sono passate solo poche settimane da quando tutta la coalizione di centro-sinistra, compresi alcuni movimenti della società civile fuori dai partiti, mi ha indicato come candidato alla carica di sindaco. Non voglio nascondere un'iniziale incertezza, che però si è subito allontanata. Quello che mi ha spinto ad accettare la sfida è stata la voglia di mettermi a disposizione degli altri, nel luogo dove sono nato e vivo. Soprattutto adesso, in momenti difficili per il nostro futuro. Credo, infatti, che un piccolo Comune come Fosdinovo abbia, oggi più che mai, bisogno di amministratori che siano a disposizione dei cittadini, pronti ad ascoltarli, a confrontarsi e a prendere le decisioni necessarie.
