"Pax per aquam" is our Environmental Education Project: "Water in the Dolomites: from resource to be protected well."
Water is the basis of life and as such has always been at the center of cultural and material well-being of societies around the world.
Today, unfortunately, this valuable resource is in danger.
Though the planet's surface is made in two thirds of water, we are faced with acute water scarcity that is attributed, by scholars, the ecological devastation of the Earth.
Our work program is therefore in research and study what is relevant to water as a primary good for man to use wisely and to protect themselves and others so that the source of life and wealth rather than due to tragedies and wars.
Club Belluno - Feltre offers educational action that will analyze all these aspects of general, special attention will, however, the study of issues related to water level provinciale.La our action will be given to young people in the hope that the message comes through them, even to adults and especially to those who have the power to decide. Twenty-four students
ITC "Calvi" in Belluno, first class section C will engage with teachers and industry experts in this study and research.

Draft Environmental education
DOLOMITE WATER: FROM A GOOD RESOURCE TO PROTECT
proposed project within the ITC Calvi di Belluno activities as' interdisciplinary
Objectives - To raise awareness on environmental issues and protection of well water;
- identify the relationship between daily behavior and the consumption of water;
- educate the responsible use of water;
- know the processes of use and the asset management companies in relation to water law;
- know the main chemical and biological analysis techniques applied to the control of drinking water and surface water;
- know the main aspects of the situation of water resources with particular refer to our territory;
- recognize their identity 'through the rediscovery of cultural tradition and features of the landscape;
- identify water as a source of literary experiences;

Methods
The project includes:
a) an introductory meeting held by President of Soroptimist, association promoting the initiative;
b) in-depth lessons in curriculum time on the water held by the teachers involved in the project with regard to their own discipline (Science of Nature Sciences of Matter, Italian, History, Law and Economics, Religion, word processing )
c) in-depth lessons in curriculum time given by experts on water:
- a meeting held by representatives of the Central Civilization 'Water Mogliano Veneto on the topic of water management (integrated water cycle);
- external exit ARPAV with operators at the headquarters of Belluno activities' workshop on chemical-biological water;
- external exit to Caorame River in Val Canzoi with experts ARPAV;
- a lesson for class held by experts on the province of Belluno ARPAV: §
reading of geography, morphology and geology of the area ;
§ distribution of surface water; §
water management (dams, hydroelectric power, irrigation, etc.); §
problems to human intervention (Vajont, logging, concrete, etc.), climate change and
§ available water;
d) meetings with experts in the preparation of an audiovisual
with the involvement of the class: they provide lessons photography using a video projector, computer and use software to create audiovisual;
e) a meeting with the authorities', pupils and parents at the end of the project for the submission of the final product.
Duration
The project will run 'from January until the end of the school year.
